How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary texts?
With regards to our ancillary texts we have aimed to produce all of the products with a clear focus on the target audience. We looked at creating this beautiful image that then fits with the beauty of her voice, her image and the surroundings within the video.
![]() Promotional PosterWe have attempted to create a brand image and an identity for the artist through our use of colour and font. The colours use are that of pastel colours to create the feeling of femininity. We wanted to have the artist being recognised for her colour, location as well as the song/video throughout promotion. This is all complementary towards that of the photography & used. We have tried to create the artist's image through the use of font. We have again used the Gill Sans MT font to create a clean cut look. We have used this throughout to add to the theme. Also our photos on our packaging were taken on location of the filming in our video which creates the same feel for colour. However the nature shots on this packaging are adding to the feel of naturalness and beauty that is shown throughout our video and poster. | ![]() Front CoverIn our front cover we have used the named font to create the clean cut effect and simplicity as the photograph used is so beautiful yet simple. This is a lot like our font. We have also used the same image colours in the packaging to the video's effect and this creates that same feminine feel to it that the filter does on our video. |

How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary texts?
Keeping a constant brand identy is important to keep everything to do with my artist recognisable, it also makes everything just tie together and work well. I focused on keeping a constant brand identy all the way through, from research I found that every genre keeps a constant brand identy to make each indiviual thing regonisable to the other things to do with the artist. It also gives each individual artist their own orgional image because earch one will have a different constant brand identy, no two can be the exact same therefore it makes them have their own kind of image.
From using things from the video I was able to create this constant brand identy, everything came from the video, I made that my main focus then made everything else around that making the music video the center of the brand identy.

Location
Here I used the Victorian Swimming Baths, college studio and a local park throughout. I mainly used the Victorian Baths and this was in each part.
