  • a cover for its release as part of a digipak (CD/DVD package);

  • a magazine advertisement for the digipak (CD/DVD package).

 
A2 Media Coursework Blog

 

We have decided to work as a group for our A2 coursework as in our AS year we both did the whole process alone (print) and wanted to try something more challenging together.

Hi, I am Jazmine Allen and this is the blog for my group A2 media coursework. We chose to do a music video because it is a new part of media that we can both explore. Personally I am skilled in photography therefore I knew I could get a chance to get some good print work done for the music video. Also the skills involved in filming are similar to the skills in photography, you have to be able to position the camera correctly on the accurate third. Because I have a good eye for photography this helps with finding good filming angles and shots. I hope to find some new skills while doing this coursework.

I enjoy graphic design and media studies. In this coursework I wanted to put across my creative skills in video editing as well as an eye for framing the right shot. Also I wanted to work in a partnership as then our skills could be combined and we both could succeed in our areas.
