Initally we were looking at mind mapping ideas for Lydia to write a song.
We wanted the song to have a story and for the video to be able to portray the feelings of hurt and helplessness.
We didn't want to aim for the typical 'pop' song as we would rather be different as we are aiming to create an individual artist's interpretation.

Both of the lyrics of these songs create suspense within a relationship in very different ways. We want to create that unknowingly feel that every relationship has as the not knowing what to expect and not knowing when everything will go wrong.
Main Inspriation
Our main inspriation is Gabrielle Aplin, her style in both music and look is the same look in what we want to portray. She write her own songs usually to an acoustic guitar which are mainly about love, this is something that I want to achive. I want to write a song which is a sad love song and also write the music for this song. This music video style has inspired the song writing and also the music video. This song was orgionally sang by the band Frankie Goes To Hollywood and was written by Holly Johnson, Peter Gill, Mark O'Toole and Brian Nash four out of five members of the band. Even though the song was written by them I have concentrated on Gabrielle Aplins version because it is played on the piano which is what I would hopefully like our song to be played with, the style of the music video is something that I like and finally she sings it in a similar voice to our singer.
